In partnership with the National Endowment for the Humanities, the Indiana Humanities Council offers a competitive grants program which awards funding to Indiana not-for-profit organizations, schools, and other institutions. We divide our grants into two broad categories: Humanities Initiative Grants and Historic Preservation Education Grants.

The Indiana Humanities Council is pleased to release its 2008 Humanities Initiative Grant Guidelines. There have been a few changes from previous years, including the addition of Special Priority consideration for those planning projects involving this year's theme: "Homeland/Hostland: Indiana and Immigration."
