Indiana Humanities partners with a variety of businesses, foundations and other nonprofits to enhance programming and leverage resources. Their in-kind support allows us to serve Hoosiers like you all across the state.

General partners include:

BigCar—As a 501c3 nonprofit, Big Car uses creativity as a catalyst for a better Indianapolis.
The Celebration of Diversity Distinguished Lecture Series, Butler University—This series provides Butler University and the greater Indianapolis community an avenue to promote ethnic diversity and multicultural awareness through increased interaction with high profile multicultural scholars, dignitaries and personalities.
IndyTalks—A collaboration of more than 20 groups in Central Indiana, dedicated to fostering a sense of community through respectful and creative civic dialogue.
Hoosier History Live!—A weekly radio program that investigates forgotten Indiana state history.

Novel Conversations

The Glick Fund, a fund of Central Indiana Community Foundation—Novel Conversations received a $15,000 grant to purchase and support books by Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award winners.
Eugene & Marilyn Glick Indiana Authors Award—The Indianapolis-Marion County Library Foundation donated sets of books from award winners to the collection.
Indiana State Library—Books are shipped through the INfo Express Service.

Community Conversations

Bowen Center for Public Affairs at Ball State University—As a co-presenter of this series, the Bowen Center assists with the facilitation and implementation of the workshops, and handles follow-up needs of each community.

Indiana Landmarks—This grant is sponsored jointly by Indiana Humanities and Indiana Landmarks.

Food for Thought

Indiana’s Family of Farmers—This coalition of organizations and commodities served as the presenting sponsor of the Food for Thought program.
Dow AgroSciences—The biotechnology corporation sponsored the Ttraveling Exhibit’s Story Silo and interactive elements.
Red Gold—A Traveling Exhibit sponsor, Red Gold supplied cookbooks and other giveaways.
Conner Prairie—The interactive history park provided kitchen utensils for the Traveling Exhibit’s Hoosier Cabinet.
Indiana State Fair—New home of the Traveling Exhibit.
Spirit & Place Festival—In 2010, we partnered together on the Food for Thought theme of the festival, and on “An Evening with Anthony Bourdain and Eric Ripert.”
Harrison Center for the Arts—Creators of FoodCon and FoodCon2 (and our neighbor).
DigIN—A one-day Taste of Indiana at White River State Park.
