Kristen Fuhs Wells Director of Communications Ext. 125, kwells@indianahumanities.org
Think: Everything has a deeper meaning when you
look at it through the humanities lens: the food I eat, the sports I watch, the
countries I visit, the state I call home. About Kristen Kristen graduated from Butler University and holds a journalism degree in integrated communications. She is currently pursuing an MBA in marketing at Butler and just completed a term on the Young Alumni Board, where she also served as secretary. She is active in the Hoosier Chapter of Public Relations Society of America, serving as co-director of professional development. Kristen is a two-time Pinnacle Award winner from the organization. She submitted an award-winning entry for Indiana Humanities' Food for Thought campaign in the marketing and communications division, and received a "Best of Show" award for her work at Hetrick Communications with the FitCity childhood obesity campaign. A Spencer, Ind., native, she’s a Lilly Community Scholar and is active with the Owen County Community Foundation, where she serves on its advisory board. She also writes a column called “Where are they now?” for the Spencer Evening World that catches up with former Owen County residents. Ever the sports fan, Kristen is a contributing writer to VYPE High School Sports Magazine for Central Indiana, and frequently volunteers in the media room for local sporting events. She also serves as a ReadUP tutor through United Way of Central Indiana. Kristen and her husband, Ben, adore traveling, as well as their English bulldog, Bronx. |
