The National Endowment for the Humanities announced $20 million in grant awards and offers for 319 humanities projects--including $324,000 to 11 Indiana organizations.

Awardees include: Elkhart County Historical Society, Inc., Eiteljorg Museum of American Indian and Western Art, Jefferson County Historical Society, Minnetrista Cultural Foundation, Inc., Indiana University--Indianapolis, DePauw University and the University of Notre Dame, which received 5 awards.
