Encouraging civic engagement has been a core value of the Indiana Humanities Council since its inception. Over the years, the Council has concentrated on building connections with and engaging Indiana's established and emerging leaders in civic conversations concerning such crucial issues as human capital development, regional partnerships, economic and community development, and quality of life management.
