In partnership with the National Endowment for the Humanities, Indiana Humanities offers a competitive grants program which awards funding to Indiana not-for-profit organizations, schools, and other institutions. We divide grants into two broad categories: Humanities Initiative Grants and Historic Preservation Education Grants. more

The Teacher Center features instructional toolkits for educators on subjects such as Abraham Lincoln, Native Americans, Indiana’s road to statehood, as well as opportunities for professional development. more

A statewide directory of liberal arts divisions in colleges and universities, as well as libraries, museums and historical organizations. more
Past Projects
Over the years, Indiana Humanities has been involved in a variety of projects, including a photo essay that summarizes Indiana's African American history, a framework for teaching the role of religion in American History, and an essay by Kurt Vonnegut. more
